Park Villa Football Development group uses football as a means of providing productive activity for young people which introduces them to concepts such as fitness, teamwork, self-esteem, discipline, good behaviour and the importance of maintaining a healthy diet and lifestyle promoting good mental health. Park Villa Football Development has identified the need for these activities to start from an early age which is why we successfully developed our tiny-Kickers group involving youngsters as young as 18- months Park Villa Football Development also uses football as a means of providing adults both male and female with the opportunity to improve their health and learning, through football coaching and our Park Villa Fit initiative. The coaching programme aims to provide young people and adults with an opportunity to maximise their full potential in both the sport of football and their contribution to the community. Opportunities to maximise their learning potential, the encouragement to take up education and life-long learning opportunities in their chosen field, the opportunity to obtain recognised SFA coaching qualifications, hence creating employment opportunities as a qualified coach and access to further college education in the field of sport and recreation. Park Villa Football Development aim to provide a safe and empowering environment in which to embrace a positive alternative to anti-social behaviour.
